Before the timepiece earned its Official Certified Chronometer-qualification is underwent a series of very specific and highly demanding tests held at Wenge’s in Glasshutte. The strict Din 8319 criteria of Wenge, prescribe that testing and trails take place during a period of at least 15 days. The Watch will be exposed at different settings to a range of different temperatures at constant air humidity of 50 %. In addition, all of the timepiece’s functions will be carefully and meticulously tested during the trials, making Wenge’s selection far more stringent than the Swiss Chronometer tests.
