HISTORY
Mr Steiner, who has since passed away, introduced his first watch on to the Dutch market in 1980. His watches represented an alternative to the existing watch market, and could only be purchased out of his store in Nijmegen. Mr. Steiner’s Swiss origins and affection of the traditional fine art of Haute Horlogerie, continued this tradition by presenting his customers, with a new model each year.
Mr Steiner later moved to the historical city of Maastricht, where, together with his daughter Romina Steiner and Philipp Stahl, he ran a shop in one of the Stok street’s oldest buildings. It is at this location where his passion for the jeweller’s trade grew into an expertise and where his master craftsman status attracted an increasingly eager clientele wanting to benefit from his knowledge and advice. During the past decade Steiner has established itself in today’s international luxury watch making world. With the increasingly availability of vintage, used and new watch brands, large numbers of enthusiasts have found their way to the historical building in the Stokstraat. This phenomenon is not only due to the large and interesting assortment, but mainly, because of the reliable and highly distinguished level of service.
The ultimate dream...…
An exclusive watch developed by, and with Mr. Steiner’s signature was the ultimate dream of this charismatic gentleman. A watch, which through its expression and style becomes a distinguishing piece of jewellery for any modern man or woman who enjoys life to the fullest extent. The new owners, Philipp Stahl and Romina Steiner, share that same passion for quality. They have continued the family tradition by designing and developing a unique Steiner watch on their own. Not an easy task considering today’s watch market and a fine testimony of the daring Dutch entrepreneurial spirit.
